"أراد ثمانية أشخاص من الصعيد أن يذهبوا إلى قريبهم، وقرروا في النهاية أن يستقلوا التاكسي، وكان التاكسي لا يسع إلا سبعة أشخاص فقط، فاتفقوا مع السائق أن يركبوا هم الثمانية، ولكن صاحب التاكسي لم يوافق، وبعد إلحاح شديد، قالوا له: عندنا فكرة.. أربط الشخص الثامن في مؤخرة السيارة واجعله يجري خلفها..
فوافق السائق وربط ثامنهم في مؤخرة السيارة، وخرج بهم على الطريق السريع.. ومشى على سرعة 60 كيلو متراً والتفت السائق خلف السيارة، فرأى الصعيدي الثامن وهو يجري بسرعة ويكاد يسبقه.. فزاد السائق من سرعة السيارة إلى 80 كم.
فرأى الصعيدي المربوط يجري بسرعة ويكاد يلحق به، فأسرع السائق أكثر من 120 كم. فلاحظ أن الصعيدي يفتح عينيه ويغمضهما بسرعة، فتوقف السائق في دهشة.
فسأله الركاب: لماذا توقفت بالسيارة؟
فأجابهم: لأن زميلكم المربوط في مؤخرة السيارة يغمض عينيه ويفتحهما باستمرار وأخشى أن يكون مريضاً.
فقالوا له: إنه ليس مريضاً.. بل هو يعطيك إشارات ويريد منك أن تفسح له الطريق ليتجاوزك.. فأسرع أكثر عن ذي قبل حتى لا يسبقك".
منذ القدم ألف الناس الأدب الضاحك، لذا نجد هذا الأدب في تراث الفراعنة والإغريق والرومان وسائر شعوب العالم القديم.
ولقد اعتدنا الضحك من تصرفات الإنسان حين يفارقه المألوف لنا من طبائع البشر، كأن نرى رجلاً يتشبه بالنساء، أو امرأة تتصرف تصرف الرجال، أو شيخاً يتصابى، أو صبياً يتكلف أخلاق الكبار، أو شخصاً يعرّف بما لا يعرف.
إن الغرض من هذه السلسلة، التي تضم طائفة من النوادر اللطيفة كنوادر المعلمين، ونوادر الحمقى والمغفلين، ونوادر الأطباء والعيانين، وهو تعبئة أوقات الفراغ، وإبعاد الكآبة والملل عن النفوس المرهقة بأعباء الحياة.
