أعد هذا المؤلف في ضراب الدخل والثروة والإنفاق في لبنان في طبعته هذه ليلبي حاجة طلاب كليات التجارة وإدارة الأعمال في فهم الجوانب الأساسية للنظام الضريبي دون الغوص في تفاصيل النظام الضريبي اللبناني، والتي يمكن أن يتعرف عليها الطلاب في حياتهم العملية بعد تخرجهم أو في مرحلة دراستهم العليا. بعد صدور الطبعة الأولى وجد المؤلف اهتماماً كبيراً بالموضوعات التي احتواها هذا المؤلف م قبل خريجي كليات التجارة وإدارة الأعمال بصفة خاصة والمثقفين بصفة عامة مما شجعه على تتبع التغيرات في القانون الضريبي اللبناني وتحديث هذه المؤلف وتعديله بتلك التغيرات خلال العامين الماضيين خصوصاً في مجالات الضرائب الجمركية والضريبية على القيمة المضافة إضافة إلى بعض التغيرات في ضرائب الدخل، حاول في هذا المؤلف أن يتتبع بنفس المنهج العلمي الذي استخدمه لدراسة كل من النظامين الضريبي الأمريكي والأمريكي والمصري في الجوانب الفنية وفي القراءة الاقتصادية للقوانين الضريبية لكل منها، حيث تبدأ دراسة الضريبة بمقدمة عنها تبين أهميتها التحويلية والاقتصادية للمجتمع، ثم عرض لنطاقها فوعائها فكيفية ربطها وتحصيلها قبل أن يعرض لأهم سماتها، ثم عرض في نهاية النظام الضريبي لبعض الملاحظات العامة حوله والتي تكون أقرب إلى تقديم أولي لهذه النظم.
وفي هذا المؤلف والذي يحتوي على ثلاثة أبواب: الضرائب على الدخل، والضرائب على الثورة وأخيراً الضرائب على الإنفاق. ينقسم كل منها إلى عدم فصول، يحتوي كل منها على ضريبة محددة. وهكذا يحتوي هذا الكتاب على الضريبة على الأرباح الصناعية والتجارية وغير التجارية، والضريبة على الرواتب والأجور ومعاشات التقاعد، والضريبة على دخول رؤوس الأحوال المنقولة والضريبة على الأملاك المبنية في بابها الاول، أما الباب الثاني فيحتوي على رسم الانتقال والذي يمثل ضريبة على نصيب كل وارث، أما الباب الأخير فيحتوي على كل من الضرائب الجمركية، وعلى رسم الطابع أو ضريبة الدفعة والضريبة على القيمة المضافة.
