كتاب جريء فيه مواجهة حقيقية بين العلم والحديث والدين فهو يبين أن العلم والدين صنوان لا يتعارضان ولا يتناقضان مهما طال الزمن ويرد بذلك على القائلين بأن قوانين الكون تتناقض مع ما جاوبه القرآن الكريم, كتاب يدعو إلى التفكير والتأمل في خلق الله من الذرة إلى المجرة ويثبت أن مظاهر الكون لم تخلق عبثاً وأن الإنسان لم يخلق سدى وأن من وراء هذا الكون عقلاً مدبراً حكيماً ولا يحكم أن يكون صنع الطبيعة العاجزة أو أن يكون وليد المصادفة العمياء لقوله تعالى: يأيها الناس قد جاءكم برهان من ربكم وأنزلنا إليكم نوراً مبيناً. فالنعد معاً عزيزي القارئ إلى كتاب الله الحكيم لنجد فيه الكثير من الآيات والبراهين القاطعة التي تدل على وجود الله وعظمته والتي تشير إلى أسرار قدرته وحكمته الدالة على القصد والنظام والإحكام والإتقان والتقدير والاتزان في خلق السماوات والأرض والشمس والقمر والنجوم والكواكب والليل والنهار والرياح والأمطار والجبال والأنهار والمحيطات والبحار والنباتات والحيوان والإنسان وما ينطوي عليه هذا الخلق من قوانين إلهية. وقد تناول كل طرق الاستدلال التي تؤدي إلى الحق والإيمان كما أكد على دليل النظام الذي يرتكز على ما في خلق الله من إبداع واختراع وتصميم وتنظيم واحكام واتقان وتقدير وتحديد وترتيب واتزان فأشار إلى المظاهر الجغرافية الكونية في الأرض وفي السماء وفي كل الآفاق, حيث قسم الكتاب إلى أربعة أبواب تناولنا في الباب الأول الحديث عن المنهج العقلي في الإسلام, الاشارات الجغرافية في الآيات القرآنية, مهد الجغرافية, قضايا كونية. وفي الباب الثاني تناولنا محتويات الكون المجرات, النجوم, الشمس, الكواكب في المجوعة الشمسية, كوكب الأرض, العمر, النيازك والشهب, المذنبات, دورن الأرض ونتائجه. وتناولنا في الباب الثالث الغلاف الغازي, نشأته وتركيبه, الطبقات الهوائية, مناخ الأرض وعناصره, البرق والرعد. وتناولنا في الباب الرابع والأخير الغلاف المائي نشأته وحركته, المياه الباطنية, الأنهار, البحار والمحيطات.
