عندما فكرت، أو طلب مني الكتابة في جريدة البناء ثم في جريدة النهضة، رأيت أن أعيد الإضاءة على قواعد الفكر القومي الاجتماعي ومرتكزاته، ثم على مواقف سعادة من القضايا القومية وبالرغم من احتجاج البعض، وآرائهم أنه من الأفضل التعرض الى الأوضاع الراهنة، رأيت أن القواعد الفكرية التي وضعها سعادة يمكن من الارتكاز اليها في ما يجري على الساحتين القومية والدولية، إضافة الى وضع هذه القواعد والمرتكزات، والمواقف أمام القوميين بشكل خاص ليتعرفوا اليها بشكل سريع وسهل لتكون لهم قواعد في تحليل الظواهر والأحداث وفهمها فهماً دقيقاً، لا يرتكز الى العاطفة أو الرأي الفردي، لأن العمل من ضمن منظمة تستهدف توحيد اتجاه الأمة، لا بد من معرفة قواعدها الفكرية، ونظرتها الى الوجود الاجتماعي، وسبل النهوض به.
