ويشير فضل الله من خلال كلماته إلى ضرورة الابتعاد عن التفسيرات الغيبية كقاعدة لحركة الواقع؛ لأن الله، جل جلاله، لم يركز الحياة على أساس الغيب، بل خلقها على قاعدة السنن الكونية الطبيعية التي أودعها في الكون، وأراد من الإنسان أن يكتشفها من خلال فكره النظري والتجريبي. ويتكامل الإنسان مع الكون، في عملية أخذ وعطاء، ليعيش مسؤوليته فيه كما يريد الله منه ذلك. غير أن ذلك لا يعني بالنسبة لفضل الله استبعاد الغيب عن الساحة، فيما يفاجأ الإنسان من أحداث وانتصارات لأننا نؤمن بالغيب، فيما هو معنى الإيمان.
