فيها تلخيص جل ما ورد في كتاب الله سبحانه وتعالى، أو صح في سنة رسوله عليه الصلاة والسلام، من الأحكام الشرعية المتعلقة بالجنائز، مع بيان الراجح عند اختلاف العلماء، دون ذكر الأدلة ونقاش المسائل، وتفريعات كتب الفقه، حرصاً -في هذا كله- على عدم الإطالة، ورغبة في التسهيل.
والهدف من هذه الرسالة تيسير مراجعة فقه الجنائز عند وقوع مصيبة الموت -وهذا مما لا بد منه- في قريب أو حبيب، إذ إن الكتب المصنفة في هذا الباب -على عظمها وجودتها- مما يصعب على المسلم العامي مراجعته، فضلاً عن المثقف أو طالب العلم، خاصة عند حلول المصاب، وشغف القلوب!!
