"في تاريخي معك، نبت لقلمي المتصابي شارب أصبح أكثر نضجاً، أصبح أكثر حكمة، لم يعد يحب ببراءة... كما جرت العادة، لم يعد ذلك الحالم، أصبح رجلاً أكثر شراسة، نعم، حتى القلم أصبح شرقياً حتى الثمالة، في تاريخي معك، كبرت فجأة أصابعي وأصبحت لها سلطة، عرفت أن حبك وهب لي قوة، استغللت القصة.. صنعت منها حملة روجت لنفسي، انتصرت... اكتسحت الانتخابات، حكمت كل مدن العشق، كان أول قرار... تعسفياً جداً، اعتقلت القمر... ومارست السلطة على كل شيء، صادرت الحريات، علقت القوانين... حرمت أي تعددية حزبية، وبنيت تمثالاً في وسط الميدان، حتى تبقى ملامحي، حتى يعرف الناس كيف تكون سمات الديكتاتورية، منعت البحر من ممارسة كل هواياته، فما عاد له مد أو جزر، حملت بين أصابعي مقص الرقيب، وجبت الوطن شرقاً وغرباً بعدها، ما عدنا نرى تلك المشاهد الخليعة، ما عدنا نرى للشواطئ والأمواج أي رذيلة، ما عادت تلك العناقات موجودة، حذفت كل المشاهد... منعت أي لقاء كنت أريد أن أكون العاشق الوحيد، وأن تكوني آخر العاشقات، في تاريخي معك، تغيرت الدنيا كثيراً وأصبح الحب سيادة فردية، وأصبح العشق هو أنت... وأنا أدري سيحكون عني وعنك، ستصيبهم الحيرة، ولن يعرفوا أحقاً كانت علاقتنا عهد رخاء البشرية، أما أننا مددنا أرجلنا وجلسنا، فرحين على التلال بعد خرابها، تاريخي معك كان مميزاً جداً سيدتي... فدعي من يقول... يقول يكفي أني استطعت أن أتحول من مواطن كادح... مغلوب على أمره إلى عاشق بمرتبة سلطان، يكفي فخراً... أني مارست شرقيتي ورجوليتي بكل اقتدار كنت حقاً نموذجاً فذاً لعاشق أتى للسلطة فجأة فحرم العشق وسجن كل العشاق، كنت خير مثال لامرئ بائس، أتى من بقعة تسمى العالم الثالث، ليصبح في لمح البصر... أعظم العشاق".
لا تبحث عن تعريف أو تصنيف لما تقرأه بين دفتي هذا الكتاب، فليس لدى الكاتب إجابة. كل ما هنا ثرثرة قلم. فلا تسأل أين رحلت القافية أو كيف ضاع الوزن وعما حل بقواعد اللغة. إنها مجرد محاولات. مواقف. أحداث. ذكريات بوحي ما هو إلا صرخة اشتياق إلى كل شيء بعد ملل الغربة واشتياق إلى أرض الوطن. فعفواً، كل ما هنا قد سقط عمداً.
