لقد أجاد الروائي في عمله هذا بإستخدام تقنية سردية بارعة لذلك التمزق في الوعي والإزدواجية التي تعيشها الشخصية الرئيسة في العمل (الدكتور الجهيني) للتعبير عن الرؤى الداخلية لكينونة الإنسان العربي؟ فبعد أن أصبح الجهيني في البرلمان وصار مقره، أنسته السياسة الطب، ولولا أن زبائنه من كلهم من غربال لكان مصيره السجن...؟
