يسعى هذا الكتاب لتكملة ما تم تقديمه في الجزء النظري الذي أصدره المؤلف "وليد القادري" سابقاً تحت عنوان الميكانيك والكهرباء، كما جاءت المسائل التي يتضمنها تكميلاً لهذه الفيزياء، لتمثل الفيزياء التطبيقية، وتحمل معها المسائل والأسئلة المرفقة بأجوبة كحلول نموذجية لها.
وبالعودة لمادة هذا الكتاب نجد أنها قد جاءت موزعة على عشرين فصلاً: تحدث الفصل الأول عن الخصائص الميكانيكية للمادة، والخصائص العامة للمادة وقانون هوك، والفصل الثاني: كان للحديث عن ميكانيكا الموائع المتحركة، أما الفصل الثالث: فقد ناقش القوى والاتزان الميكانيكي، والفصل الرابع: كان للقوة والكميات المتجهة والكميات القياسية، أما الفصل الخامس: فهو للحديث عن الآلات البسيطة كالبكرات والعجلات، والفصل السادس: كان للحركة. أما الفصل السابع: فهو للحديث عن قوانين نيوتن في الحركة الخطية، والفصل الثامن: كان للحديث عن الحركة الدائرية والدورانية وحركات الأجسام في مجال الجاذبية الأرضية وكذلك سقوط الأجسام، أما الفصل التاسع: للحركة التذبذبية والتولفقية البسيطة، والفصل العاشر: كان للشغل والقدرة والطاقة، أما الفصل الحادي عشر: فهو للزخم الخطي والدفع، والفصل الثاني عشر: تحدث عن الكهرباء السكونية وقانون كولوم وصفات خطوط المجال الكهربائي، أما الفصل الثالث عشر: فهو عن المواسعة الكهربائية، والفصل الرابع عشر: تحدث عن التيار الكهربائي، أما الفصل الخامس عشر: فهو لتوليد التيار الكهربائي، والفصل السادس عشر: فهو للمقاومة الكهربائية، أما الفصل السابع عشر: فهو للحديث عن المجال المغناطيسي وقانون بيو-سافار، والفصل الثامن عشر: تحدث عن الحث الكهرومغناطيسي والقوة الدافعة الكهربائية الحثية والمحول الكهربائي والمولد الكهربائي، أما الفصل التاسع عشر: فهو عن الإلكترونيات مثل الترنزستور، والفصل الأخير: كان للحديث عن تأثيرات التيار الكهربائي.
