قالها طفل وغنّى... ومضى يرسمها فوق الدفاترْ... صوتها يأتيك غيماً ونسيماً وبشائر... وظلالاً في هجير العمر والجرح المكابرْ... صوتها زهو النخيل الخضر... في حِضن الصباحِ... وإرتعاشُ الفجر في الآفاقِ... في رمل البطاحِ... وإخضرارُ الدهشة الجذلى... على طلعِ الأقاحي... وأريجُ الريح في الشطآنِ... والبيد الفساحِ... آه ما أسعدني من شاعرٍ... صوتها العشبيُّ قد داوى جراحي...
