Book Description
"أبو العلاء المعري" هو أحمد بن عبد الله بن سليمان القضاعي التنوخي المعري ولد في المعرة (363-449هـ/973-1057م). شاعر وفيلسوف، درس علوم اللغة والأدب والحديث والتفسير والفقه والشعر على نفر من أهله. ويدل شعره ونثره على أنه كان عالماً بالأديان والمذاهب وفي عقائد الفرق، وكان آية في معرفة التاريخ والأخبار.
وديوان (سقط الزند)، أول إنتاج أدبي لأبي العلاء المعري، نظمه في صباه وكان فيه مقلداً الشعراء الذين سبقوه خاصة المتنبي، يحتوي الكتاب ما يقارب 3 آلاف بيت شعر في مواضيع الشعر المختلفة من: حكمة ورئاء، ومدح وتهنئة، وفخر، ووصف وغزل، وشكوى، إضافة إلى الدرعيات، وفيها حاول المعري أن يقدم شعراً فيه إصلاح ونقد وإعتماد على العقل ودعوة إلى العلم. وقد سبق كتابه (بخطبة سقط الزند) جاء فيها: "وأما بعد فإن الشعراء كأفراس تتابعن في مدى، ما قصر منها لحق، وما وقف ذيم وسبق. وقد كنت في ربان الحدائة، وجن النشاط، مائلاً في صفو القريض أعتده بعض مآثر الأدب، ومن أشرف مراتب البليغ (...)" وقد ختم الخطبة بـ "والله تعالى أستغفر وإياه أسأل التوفيق".
هذا، وقد جاء ديوان (سقط الزند) موزعاً على بحور الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى وكذلك الشعر العامودي، وفقاً للترتيب الألفبائي ويبدأ بـ(الهمزة وينتهي بالياء) مع شرح الألفاظ والمعاني.
