كاتب وروائي كويتي، نشر عدد من المجموعات القصصية، كما نشر رواية بدرية التي نالت شهرة كبيرة في الساحة الأدبية العربية منذ عام 1989م، وكتب عنها الكثير من النقاد العرب نشر كتابين عن فن وعلم التنويم، والعلاج بالطاقة الكونية "ريكي"، حيث يعمل استشاري نفسي واجتماعي، وأستاذ دولي بالتنويم وممثل الجمعية الأمريكية للمنومين وعضو البورد فيها، إضافة إلى تخصصات أخرى في العلاج والتنمية الذاتية حاصل على جائزتين في الأدب، الأولى من مؤسسة التقدم العلمي في الكويت عام 1994م، والثانية جائزة الدولة التشجيعية من المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب في الكويت عام 1997م

وسرت بين القبور القديمة التي تداعت كثبانها واندثرت بسبب الأمطار والرياح، ونبت على بعضها عشب قديم يابس الأعواد، كانت الأسماء والتواريخ على رخام بعض الشواهد، قد بهت صباغها بسبب الرياح المحملة بالغبار والأتربة.
كانت الريح الشمالية الباردة، تلسع وجنتي وأنا أسير متكئاً على العصا، وأشعر بالبرودة والرطوبة على أنفي وفي طرفي فتحتيه، ومع كل خطوة أسمع صوت الرمل الخشن تحت قدمي وعصاي بسبب صمت القبور، صمت لا يشبه الصمت ولكنه صاخب بكل أرواح الموتى الراقدين على مد النظر، تحت كثبان هشة من الرمال، وآلاف من الشواهد التي كتب عليها «المرحوم…» أو «المرحومة…»، قبور وشواهد تعج بالتواريخ التي تعلن أن الموت عملية جرت قبل ولادتي وستستمر بعد موتي، عندما أنضم إليها هنا تحت قدمي أو هناك بعيداً، لا أحد يعلم متى وكيف ولكن هذا هو مثواي الأخير، وهنا نهاية رحلتي الطويلة المتعبة، هنا أحط رحالي وأترجل من على سرج الحياة.
كل أرواح المدفونين هنا ارتاحت ورحلت من صخب الحياة إلى صخب الموت الصامت، تركت الحياة بجنونها ومجونها إلى عالم الراحة واللانهائية، وتركت لنا ارث الحياة اللاهث والمؤلم والمتعب والحزين.
