Book Description
"الوفا في تراجم أهل الوفا" مخطوط من تأليف نقيب أشراف صيدا صلاح الدين أويس بن عبد الله المنداوي اليماني، الذي قدم دمشق، وأخذ من علمائها أيام الوزير محمد باشا العظم، واجتمع مع المرادي صاحب سلك الدرر، وتوفي في دمشق سنة (1188هـ).
ولأن الوفا عنوان هذا المخطوط جاء في تبرير مؤلفه له "... الوفا ألزمني لزوم كل ما يلزم، وحتم عليَّ حتم القضاء المبرم، أن أترجم أهل الوفاء والآداب من أفاضل الشيوخ، والأصحاب، الذين كان لي شرف صحبتهم، والأخذ عنهم في العلم من كل الابواب في الروض البسّام مدينة دمشق الشام أبقاها الله عامرة على الدوّام...".
تكمن أهمية هذه المخطوطة في كونها تعبيراً جميلاً عن علاقة طالب العلم بأستاذه وهي في مضمونها عبارة عن رسالة علمية لطالب علم اصطحبه أبوه معه إلى عدد من العلماء في دمشق حيث تلقى العلم عنهم، وقام بوصف حالة كل عالم من هؤلاء العلماء، والمواد العلمية والدينية والأدبية التي كانوا يدرّسونها، ثم وصف أخلاقهم وسجاياهم وعلمهم...
تعطي القارئ فكرة عن أسلوب وطريقة التعليم السائدة في عصر المؤلف، وتضاف إلى هذه الميزة، ميزة التصانيف التربوية التي تَفَوَّقَ علم التعليم عند المسلمين القدامى عن غيره من نُظم التربية والتعليم السائدة في أي مكان في العالم، حيث كان طالب العلم يحفظ القرآن الكريم ومتون اللغة العربية وهم لم يتعدَ العاشرة من عمره، ويلمُ أيضاً بعلوم الرياضيات والفقه والحديث، وحتى الفلك، والذي لا نقع على شبيه له اليوم.
ولأهمية هذا المخطوط عَمِلَ على تحقيقه وشرحه والتعريف بمصادر الشخصيات المترجم لها ثم إكمال نسب كل شخصية مترجم لها في الكتاب من آل البيت الأستاذ عارف أحمد عبد الغني ليستفيد من يود الإطلاع على سلاسل أنساب آل البيت عليهم السلام، كما تم نشر صور المخطوط الأصلي في بداية هذا الكتاب لتكون مثالاً للوفاء...
