في هذه المختارات طرحت الأسئلة انكشفت الأسرار التي يحميها الأطفال. هذه القصائد تحمل دهشتهم وسحر إبداعهم الشخصي في إعادة بناء زمن القصيدة. فهم يعبرون عن همومهم وأمانيهم عن ضيقهم وحيرتهم أمام أحجية الموت والحياة, بكثير من الوضوح والشجاعة, بقوة صوتهم الداخلي وإحساسهم العالي لموسيقى الكلمات وجرسها. وتكمن القيمة الحقيقية لهذه القصائد في أنها جاءت استجابة عفوية لطبيعة الطفل الذي تركته الحرية ينمو كيفما اتفق- كشجرة على النبع. كما أنها عبرت عن, أو كان لها أوثق العلاقة مع خصائص الإنسان العميقة, وحاجته للنمو في مناخ أفضل. ولعل أهميتها للطفل العربي, تكمن أولاً في إطلاعه على تجربة من هذا النوع, وذلك بمساعدة قد تكون يسيرة من جانب الأهل. وثانياً, ربما ساعدته على التدريب السهل لاستخدام الخيال, والتجربة في التعبير.. بكلمة, ربما شجعته على انتاج جزء هام من حريته من خلال الشعر.
