في رمزية مبطنة، وقدرة على إيقاظ معان إنسانية سامية، من زمان ولى، وحاضر مازال يحتضر، يخط لنا الشاعر والإعلامي "رفيق خوري" لحظات، بل أيام، بل سنون مرت من حياته هي ارتحالات شاعر مرهق الإحساس جمعها في كتاب سماه "برق الزمان" إنها وجدانيات لرجل "يعشق لبنانه، ويغار على شرقه، يقول في قصيدة "كفن للحياة": "هو الشرق يدمن سجن الزمان وبؤس المكان شعوب تقاتل كي يستمر الهوت تغامر بالموت تجعل تاريخها كفناً للحياة تصيد العصافير يصطادها الأدعياء وتربط أغلالها بحبال من الوهم بين القبور وبين السماء".
أما في قصيدته "في حديقة العشاق" يبحث عن المرأة فيجدها لغزاً، وأميرة، وطفلة محبوبة في آن معاً يقول: "هل أنت لغز فوق ما تستبطن النساء من ألغاز تضيع الرجال في خرائط الأشواق تحب (...) تحب ما تكره في الظلال لكي تظل الطفلة المحبوبة؟ تمشين في حديقة العشاق أميرة تحرسها البراءة تبسم للجميع كأنها راهبة في عطلة الأحد، وترسل النار إلى الجميع كأنها راقصة في لعبة الجسد وليس خلق فتنى الشفاه والنهود شيء سوى، لصقيع وليس خلف البرق في العيون رعد ولا مطر".
مجموعة شعرية رائعة، تأخذك بعيداً فيصير معها الحلم والحقيقة صنوان.
