لما كان الشعر فعل ضد الزوال ومحاولة للإمساك باللحظة، لهذا فهو صراع على حدود المستقبل ورحلة اكتشاف مستمرة، و"نور البواردي" خير من يمسك بلحظة الفرح الحياتي في أشعارها، وهي تعزف على وتر الإيحاء مروراً بالانفتاح على فضاءات التأمل والتساؤل الذي يطلق العنان للتصوير الحسي العالي والالتقاط الروحي النادر أن يفعل فعله في المتلقي.
"الحياة كما لو كانت نزهة "ويك إند" كتاب شعر تداوي به الشاعرة قلوب المتعبين "وكل الغرباء في الأرض المهجورون والجرحى والذين فقدوا قلوبهم في عملية غامضة؟ حتى السعداء الذين لا نعرف لهم أسماء ولا عناوين ولا وجهة..." إذاً هو كتاب موجه للكل "للثوار والأعداء والأصدقاء" وحتى للشعراء...
في قصيدة بعنوان (إياك أن تكون شاعراً!) تقول الشاعرة: الشعراء خداعون ويكتبون أشياء لأفهمها! الآخرون الذين لا يطلقون على أنفسهم ألقاباً أحبهم أكثر إنهم يكتبون بشكل جيد لا يخافون الفشل ولا ترعبهم فكرة الكراهية".
يضم الديوان ما يقارب المائة قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث تتراوح بين الطول والقصر نذكر من عناوينها: "وقت الظهيرة"، "أرتدي صَوْتكَ كِنزة صوفية"، "كدت أموت"، وإلا..!، "خطاك الموسيقا"، "غمرتني بلطفك"... الخ
