توفي في 2004 ولد عام 1925 في سان فرانسيسكو بكاليفورنيا، درس البيانو وهو صغير، عمل كمحقق خاص في لجنة مجلس الشيوخ الأمريكي عام 57إلى 59، كما عمل سكرتيرا صحفيا للرئيس جون كينيدي ( 59إلى 63) ثم ليندون جونسون (عامي 63و64) وعين مؤقتا كعضو ديمقراطي لمجلس الشيوخ عن ولاية كاليفورنيا عام 64، له كتاب بعنوان "مع كينيدي"، "مهنة مشرفة، تحية لروبرت كينيدي" و"بناء على تعليمات حكومتي" "جون كينيدي: القائد"، "ملف سري: الأجندة الخفية وراء حرب الخليج"، ووضع مقدمة كتاب "الهرب من الجحيم" الذي كتبه الرئيس الليبي معمر القذافي.
