الشعر ملاذ الشعراء، به يستعيدون توازن روحهم، ويستنطقون أجمل ما يدور في خيالاتهم، و "أصغر منك بقبلات" عنواناً ضاجاً بكل أسباب الحياة من حب وشغف وتوق وشوق وغوايات. وفي هذا الديوان يفكك الشاعر العلاقة القديمة – الجديدة التي تربط الرجل بالمرأة ويعيد صياغتها في متاهات الحلم، بعيداً عن قسوة الواقع.
في قصيدة بعنوان (غواية أنت) يقول: "يوم أغوت التفاحة جدي/ هبط إلى الأرض/ وحين أغوتني تفاحتان/ صعدت إلى الجنة/ عيناك غواية كبرى/ استسلمت لهما ولم أقاوم/ أنا الخاطىء/ في بحرها أعوم/ صارعت الموج،/ قاومت الريح/ وعلى الرّمل الساخن مشيت/ دعيني أتمدّد على الشاطىء وأهدأ/ وأستلقي بين أهدابك وأحلم/ عيناك جنتي/ قبلتي/ جسدك معبدي/ وأنا للصلاة أتهيأ".
يضم الديوان خمسة عشرة قصيدة في الشعر العربي الحديث نذكر من عناوينها: "مملكة النور" ، "نص لا يشبه صاحبه" ، "هيأت رحيلي" ، "في اليوم الأخير" ، "غواية أنت" ، "أجمل ما فيك" ، "يا عمري" ، " رغيف الحب" ... الخ.
