بقلم يغار على لبنان، من لوثة الطائفية، وبإيمان عميق بالإنسان مهما كان دينه أو جنسه أو مذهبه، يأتي كتاب المطران أنطوان حميد موراني "من الطائفية إلى كل لبنان" طرحاً جديداً في فكرة الطائفية "... وكنت أحاول فيها أن أحدَد اختبار الطائفية من حيث إنها تعني تحويل الإيمان الخالص بالله إلى وسيلة تخدم مصالحنا، ومن حيث إنها، نظراً إلى جزئيتها تعني تقييداً للحرية وإستبداداً بها...".
وفي الكتاب: تعليقات متتالية على أحداث أو تصريحات طائفية، كانت تهدد لبنان بالإنقسام وتدعو إلى تصريحات من هنا أو هناك تعبَر عن تأثيرها.
وفي الكتاب أيضاً، يعالج المؤلف ظاهرة الطائفية في ظروف متنوعة، فالمقال الأول، كما يشير المؤلف ظهر سنة 1961، جواباً عن استطلاعات كانت تنشرها جريدة (الجريدة) آنذاك حول الطائفية وأحداث 1958. وأما المقال الأخير فينطلق من نص 1990، في الدستور اللبناني ونص الدستور يوضح أن الطائفية هي مراعاة للعدالة ومؤقته. ولكن هذه الغاية أي العدالة، أصبحت –على ما يرى المؤلف- وسيلة وغاية. وهذا قلبٌ للمفاهيم لا تقبل به أية ثقافة إنسانية. وبين المقال الأول والأخير نصوصاً متنوعة توضح رأي المؤلف في الأحداث الجارية ومنها: أخبار الوقائع المسرودة وطرق تأويلها، والصيغة اللبنانية في ضوء الأزمة (أزمة 1967)، والمعنى اللبناني للقمم العربية، ورأي حول "الديمقراطية المواثيقية والديمقراطية العددية" ورد على "رسالة الرئيس لحودَ إلى اللبنانيين سنة 2000" ومواضيع أخرى...
