في مدار الروح أيها الغائب عني كيف أمسيت؟ وهل فكرت بي هذا المساء؟ هل تنهدت قليلاً، قرقرت عينك بالدمع وأجهشت بكاء؟ أي طعام لحياة لست فيها، أي معنى لطعام... لكلام... لهواء؟ وأنا في ركني القاص من الدنيا ضياع وهباء، قهوتي قد بردت... أترى هذا إنتهاء الأمر أم هذا إبتداء... هذه الدار ولكن لست فيها، كيف للدار سناء. قد تركت الدار كي أنجو بنفسي في متاهات القضاء. آه... لكن ساكن أنت بنفسي أنت فيها. رئتي خفقات قلبي في مدار الروح نور وإرتقاء. أنت في عمق المنايا كل نبض... كل همس، ملء سجعي، ملء عيني، إنبهار وبهاء، أيها النائي ولكن في دمائي ثورة شكر إنتشاء. صرخ الحب: فما عدنا صغاراً أبرياء ها أنا أعلن حبي... لست أخشى من عناء الكبرياء. في شعره إنتصار وإنكسار وإنجراح... هو شاعر الصهيل الحزين عبد العزيز خوجه ذاك الرومانسي الشاعر الذي يغرقك في شفافياته ورومانسياته حتى القاع. وهو إلى ذلك شاعر التراث المتجدد أو المنعطف نحو التجدد بإضفاء الطابع الإنساني على صوره الشعرية مما يزيد في جمالها. وهو الشاعر الذي يرسي تركيبة الشعر بإستخلاصه من الإستفراق الذاتي والإنطلاق به نحو البلاغة اللغوية التي يصور في إطارها " التجربة الإنسانية " والكون كله في شعر عبد العزيز خوجة لغة جديدة متجددة... وكذا معانيه التي تتوالد كبرا عن ورود... وتسري كعطر ربيعي... وتهب كنسمات صيف... تأخذ القارئ إلى عالم إليه تستكين روحه... وبين جنباته تعيش نفسه إحتفالياتها في مهرجانات قصائد الوجد... والحب... والرومانسية.
