يضم هذا الكتاب 120 آية من القرآن الكريم تأتي على ذكر موضوع "المسيح عيسى ابن مريم" و"مريم ابنة عمران" تمثل حوالي اثنين بالمئة من مجموع آياته. يتبادر إلى ذهن القارئ، بادئ ذي بدء، السؤال عن الكيفية التي أتى بها القرآن على ذكر الموضوع. لذلك نورد هنا، على سبيل المثال لا الحصر، نماذج ثلاث منها: "وآتينا عيسى ابن مريم البينت وأيدنه بروح القدس" "وجعلنا ابن مريم وأمه آية"، "إنما المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وكلمته ألقها إلى مرين وروح منه".
علماً أنه قد ورد اسم "عيسى" في 25 آية، واسم "المسيح" في 11 آية، واسم "مريم" في 34 آية، موزعين على النحو التالي: عيسى" 9 مرات، وعيسى ابن مرين" 13 مرة، و"المسيح" 3 مرات، و"المسيح ابن مريم" 5 مرات، و"المسيح عيسى ابن مريم" 3 مرات، و"ابن مريم" مرتان، و"مريم" 10 مرات، و"مريم ابنة عمران" مرة واحدة.
وبالعودة للمنهاج المتبع في إعداد هذا الكتاب الموسوعي نجد أن قد اعتمد أولاً على ذكر الآية الكريمة مقدماً إياها بالخط الكبير الأسود ثم تلاها بالتفاسير التي جاءت عليها من عدد اختاره المعدون من كتب التفاسير القيمة نذكر منها على سبيل المثال لا الحصر، تفسير ابن جرير الطبري، تفسير ابن عربي، الكشاف عن حقائق التنزيل للزمخشري، أنوار التنزيل للبيضاوي تفسير ابن كثير وغيرهم.
