يلقي هذا الكتاب الضوء على الدعاء في الإسلام ولأن للدعاء أهمية في حياة المسلم لذلك كان الدعاء ملازماً له في معيشته وعقيدته. وحيث أن الدعاء من الموضوعات الروحية المحببة إلى النفس فالدعاء ملاذ كل مكروب وأمل كل خائف وراحة كل مضطرب فبالدعاء يجأر الإنسان إلى خالقه وتنقطع الأسباب وتعجز الحيل. والدعاء تعبيرر عن حاجةالإنسان إلى الله عز وجل فالمحسن يرجو ثواب إحسانه والمسيء يرجو الصفح والمغفرة والمريض يرجو الشفاء والفقير يرجو الغنى وكل طالب حاجة يرجو حاجته من الله عز وجل. والكل يدعو الله ويستغفره وهو سبحانه وتعالى يستجيب الدعاء ويغيث المضطر ويكشف الضر ويغفر الذنوب جميعاً. وجعل الله عز وجل الدعاء سبباً لرضائه سبحانه وتعالى فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من لم يدع الله غضب عليه. وذلك لأن الدعاء يدل على الإيمان وما الإيمان سوى أن تعترف بعجزك وضعفك أمام الله عز وجل وأنت واثق من أن الله سوف يستجيب الدعاء. ولقد شرع الله سبحانه وتعالى للإنسان الدعاء في كل حين ووقت ولكن الإنسان المؤمن يتحرى أوقات الفضيلة التي كرمها الله عز وجل ليدعو الله فيها. وماهي الأوقات الفضيلة التي ندعو الله فيها؟ وماهي الشروط آداب الدعاء؟ ولماذا ندعو ولا يستجاب لنا؟ وكيف ندعو الله عز وجل؟ وبماذا ندعو الله عز وجل؟ هذا الكتاب سيجيب على تلك التسؤلات مقتبساً من كتاب الله عز وجل ومن سنة نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ومن سيرة الخلفاء الراشدين والصحابة المهتدين رضي الله عنهم أجمعين. ونسأل الله التوفيق والهداية…
