عندما يتحول الدين من وسيلة تنظم علاقة الإنسان بالله، إلى غاية من حد ذاته، يكون معرضاً لمن يحوله إلى وسيلة لتحقيق أهداف نفعية سواء كانت سياسية أو اقتصادية، وهذا يُعد اختراقاً للدين. والمسيحية لها تاريخ طويل في الافتراق، ومن أشهر الاختراقات الداخلية، ظهور محاكم التفتيش، والتي تم فيها قتل وحرق مسيحيين أرادوا الإصلاح للدين، أما الاختراق الخارجي للمسيحية فقد جاء من ناحية اليهود، وازداد وضوحاً في العصر الحديث، وفكرة هذا الاختراق أن بعض المسيحيين في أمريكا وأوروبا أرادوا أن يتبنوا فكرة وجود دولة إسرائيل الحديثة على أساس أنها تحقيق لنبؤات الكتاب المقدس، علامة على قرب عودة المسيح إلى الأرض ثانية، ولقد حدث هذا الاختراق بذكاء شديد لكي تتبنى الكنيسة فكرة الأولة الصهيونية، والمرفوضة تماماً من الكتاب المقدس، حيث يحول هذا الاختراق المسيحية إلى طائفة يهودية ظهرت كإحدى الطوائف في القرن الأول، وتعود إلى الدين الأصلي في نهاية التاريخ...
هذا الاختراق للفكر المسيحي هو ما دعا المؤلف إلى كتابة هذا البحث الذي تنقسم موضوعاته إلى ثلاثة أقسام الأول: قاموس وُضح فيه معاني بعض المصطلحات التي أوردها المؤلف في الكتاب مثل معنى، إسرائيل وصهيون، الملك الألفي... والثاني: تحليل تاريخي لتاريخ الشعب اليهودي من إبراهيم إلى اليوم... ثم أخيراً: عرض لنظرية أن إسرائيل اليوم هي تحقيق للنبوات ومقدمة لمجيء المسيح.
