إن النظرة الناموسية الحرفية لا يمكن أن تحل مشكلات الزواج ذلك لان الحياة الزوجية ليست مجرد تعاقد قانونى لكنها اتحاد شخصين وشركة محبة وعطاء ولا يمكن علاج المشكلات الانسانية الشخصية بالتشريع الجامد بل إن العلاج يستلزم نظرة شخصية وتقديرا للظروف - فمثلا يمكن للشخص أن يسقط فى خطية الزنى وهذا الشخص يسمح القانون بتطليقة إلا أنه يمكن أن يتوب ويعيش الحياة الرائعة بعد ذلك وهناك شخص آخر لا يرتكب الزنى لكن لكل لحظة من حياته مليئة بالأنانية والكبرياء والتعقيد والهزء والقسوة فيجعل حياة الطرف الأخر اكثر تعاسة من الجحيم . - والقانون يطلق الأول ولا يطلق الثانى ! - وهكذا فالقانون لا يعالج مشاكل الزواج والطلاق لان تحويل المبادئ الخلاقية والروحية إلى قوانين غير جائز
