ضمنت المؤلفة الكتاب عشرة قصص، ألحقت كل قصة بتمارين تحث الطفل على التفكير واستخلاص العبرة . حيث تحدثت القصة الأولى عن طفل من أطفال الحجارة هدم اليهود منزله واستشهد والده مما دفعه لمقاومة الاحتلال وتحمل المسؤولية، والقصة الثانية تحدثت عن روح الفريق والتعاون لدى الرياضيين، القصة الثالثة تناولت موضوع الصدق وبينت أن الصدق نجاة ومدعاة للمحبة والاحترام، أما القصة الرابعة فتحدثت عن الحواس الخمسة وأعطت الطفل بعض المعلومات عن الحواس لدى الحيوانات، القصة الخامسة حضت الطفل على عدم اهدار الماء وبينت بعض التصرفات الخاطئة في استغلال الماء، القصة السادسة تحدثت عن الأم وبعض أفضالها على أطفالها، أما القصة السابعة فتناولت التلوث وبينت بعض أشكاله ومخاطره، القصة الثامنة أعطت الطفل بعض المعلومات عن حيوان الزرافة، والقصة التاسعة تحدثت عن آثار البتراء في الأردن وتناولت تاريخ الأنباط وبعض المعلومات عنهم، أما القصة العاشرة والأخيرة فتحدثت عن القمر وعن سعي الانسان لاكتشافه وبينت عدم أهليته لعيش الانسان. وفي النهاية وضعت المؤلفة بعض القصص اتبتعها بتمارين كانا لهدف منها حث الطفل على التفكير واستخلاص الحكمة والعبرة.
