"باب الإجماع" المنشور هنا بتحقيق زهير كبي، فصل من فصول كتاب للأصولي الحنفي الكبير أبي بكر أحمد بن علي الرازي الجصاص (370هـ). وقد قام زهير كبي بتحقيق النص، والتقديم له بدراسة "مستفيضة" عن ظهور الإجماع باعتباره دليلاً فقهياً للمرة الأولى في "الرسالة" للشافعي (204هـ)، ثم طرائق استخدام الأصناف له ضمن أصولهم، بحيث تجلت النواحي الفقهية لهذا الأصل، وغلبت على الوجوه الأخرى لهذا المبدأ الإسلامي العريق.
أما كتاب الرازي الجصاص الذي انتزع منه هذا الباب فهو "الفصول في الأصول" ولم ينشر محققاً بشكل كامل بعد.
