لطالما كنا نسمع القصص الغريبة في المجالس ووسائل التواصل وغيرها ونستغرب كيف لم تمر علينا رغم اهميتها وغرابتها، والأكثر غرابة عندما تكتشف أن كل ما كنت تعتقده كان غير صحيح.
في الماضي كنت أعتقد ان الفصول الأربعة تمر على جميع سكان الكرة الأرضية، لكني اصبت بصدمة عندما اكتشفت أنّ الشتاء عندما يحل على نصف الكرة الجنوبي فإن فصل الصيف يكون قد حلّ على نصف الكرة الشمالي.
هناك حقائق مسلّم بها لم نكن نعرفها رغم اهميتها، وحقائق قديمة تمنينا لو كنا عرفناها، وحقائق جديدة نتمنى لو انها تأتي أمام اعيننا لنتعرف عليها.
هذا الكتاب سيحاول قدر المستطاع تقديم بعض الحقائق التي اختاراتها المؤلفة للقارئ.
بعض الأشياء في هذا العالم لا يجب ان تُقال، لا لغبائها ولا لقلة اهميتها ولكن بسبب الخوف من ردة فعل الناس... مثل العسلاج عندما يبدأ بالنمو مخضراً، يبدو خجلاً لكن بداخله وردة جميلة ستزهر يوماً ما. اذكر كنت ذات مرة في زيارة لبعض الأصدقاء فطلبت من شخص مناولتي الشاي فقال: والله رأيت هذه اللحظة من قبل، رأيتك وأنت تمد يدك لتأخذ الشاي في نفس الجلسة ونفس المكان، وقال: ربما حلمت بهذا المنظر في منامي وتحقق اليوم... فأخبرته انني قرأت عن هذه الحالة واسمها Déjà vu وسببها أنّ الذاكرة القصيرة تقوم بالخطأ بتخزين هذا المنظر في الذاكرة الطويلة فنعتقد ان هذا المنظر من الماضي وليس من الحاضر، فضحكوا وقالوا (وش عنده آينشتاين) نعم لقد ضحكوا على عسلاجي الصغير... اليوم اقدم لكم كتابي وبه عساليجي التي جمعتها عبر الزمن لعلها تُزهر يوماً..
