للعطر فلسفة أخرى، إنه ذلك السحر الأسطوري الكامن في مخيال الشعراء، الذي يجعل القلم يتدفق بأجمل القصيد، ليصل إلينا شذاه، وتملأ عالمنا حروفه، لقد أبدعت "نغم نصار" في هذه المجموعة فعرفت كيف تجيد إختيار الزاوية التي تنفذ منها إلى المتلقي حينما جعلت، للعطر فلسفة أخرى فصنعت منه عالمها الشعر، فكان عطرها معراج الروح إلى عالم الآخر ورسم صور الحب والإخلاص له حتى النهاية، ولا سيما في تكثيف الجانب الشعوري العاطفي بحيث يصبح بناء القصيدة جزءاً من جمال اللقاء، بكل صوره ولغته ومرايا".
في القصيدة المعنونة "لفتةُ عطرٍ" تقول الشاعرة نغم نصار: "الوقتُ شغفٌ والثواني إنتظار... ذاكرك تبرعم على شفاه نسياني... مواسم عطرٍ تنجبُ أزهارْ.. طقسُ القلب حُزنٌ ماطرٌ... الشوقُ في غيابك إعطار... وفي العينين بَرقٌ... وصُراخُ رعدٍ... يهتكُ حُجُبَ الأسرار... يا قلبُ... أنا قد مسني الحبُّ... أي رغبةٍ أشعلتها فيَّ شفتاك؟... أيّ فتنةٍ نائمةٍ أيقظتها في القلب عيناك؟...".
