تتضمن سلسلة كتاب المساعد في الإنشاء، مواضيع مختلفة تناسب بأسلوبها ومفرداتها وموضوعاتها، مراحل السنوات المتوسطة الأربع. وهي تنقسم إلى جزئين: الجزء الأول: وهو هذا الذي بين أيدينا يتناول السنتين الأولى والثانية من المرحلة المتوسطة وهو يتضمن مواضيع مختلفة تدور حول موضوعات تناسب عمر إدراك طلاب هاتين السنتين؛ وحسب ما هو مقرر في مقررات وزارة التربية الوطنية، التي تنص على أن تكون-الموضوعات-متصلة بحياة الطالب اتصالاً وثيقاً يعيش فيها ويتحمس لها، وبالتالي يبادر إلى إنشاء حرّ لموضوعات مستمدة من نصوص القراء أو مناسبات وطنية أو فصلية أو زيارات ورحلات، أو موضوعات قصصية ووصفية مستوحاة من بيئة الطلاب. إن ما يميز هذا المساعد هو أنه يحتوي على تصميم عام يرافق كل موضوع وهو يتضمن بعض العناوين التي يستحب تتبعها لصياغة التوسيع. أما الجزء الثاني فهو مخصص للسنتين الثالثة والرابعة من هذه المرحلة.
