درس الإنشاء أهم الدروس اللغوية إجمالاً، ومنزلته بينها منزلة الغاية من الوسائل، لأن تعليم اللغة يتوخى في الدرجة الأولى جعل التلميذ قادراً على التعبير السليم حديثاً وكتابة، أي قادراً على الإنشاء وكذلك يتوخى تزويد التلاميذ بما يعوزهم من المفردات والتراكيب لكي يتمكنوا من التعبير عما يشاهدون أو يدور في نفوسهم من أفكار ومشاعر وانفعالات.
وهذا الكتاب الذي بين أيدينا أعدّ خصيصاً لطلاب السنة الرابعة من المرحلة المتوسطة وهو يحتوي على مجموعة من النصوص الأدبية التي تتناسب مع قدرات طلاب هذه المرحلة. وهذه النصوص تمّ إلحاقها بثلاثة أنواع من الأسئلة هي: أسئلة فهم النص تتناول شرح معنى مفردات واردة في النص، شرح معنى عبارات واردة في النص، تقسيم النص، تلخيص النص... أسئلة في القواعد متصلة بالنص، وهي تتناول إعراب بعض المفردات، تمارين تطبيقية في القواعد، تشكيل مقطع، ذكر قاعدة عامة انطلاقاً من تطبيقات واردة في النص. تمرين إنشائي مستوحى من النص يطرح هذا النوع من التمارين موضوعات يختار منها التلميذ واحداً. هذا ما يحتويه القسم الأول من هذا الكتاب أما القسم الثاني فيحتوي على أجوبة للأسئلة المطروحة، وعلى توسيع للموضوع الإنشائي المطلوب توسيعه.
