البَرْزَنْجي (1040 - 1103 هـ = 1630 - 1691 م)
محمد بن عبد الرسول بن عبد السيد الحسني البرزنجي
فاضل، له علم بالتفسير والأدب. من فقهاء الشافعية. رزنجي الأصل. ولد وتعلم بشهرزور، ورحل إلى همذان وبغداد ودمشق والقسطنطينية. ومصر، واستقر في المدينة، فتصدر للتدريس، وتوفي بها.
له كتب، منها
• الإشاعة في أشراط الساعة - ط
• كتاب في (حل مشكلات بن العربيّ - خ) ترجمه عن الفارسية، وسماه (الجاذب الغيبي - خ) في دمشق
• (أنهار السلسبيل) في شرح تفسير البيضاوي
• (النواقض للروافض)
• (شرح ألفية المصطلح)
• (خالص التلخيص - خ) مختصر تلخيص المفتاح 37 ورقة في دار الكتب بمصر (5801 هـ
• (القول السديد والنمط الجديد في وجوب رسم الإمام والتجويد - خ) عند عبيد.
وهو غير (البرزنجي) صاحب المولد (1).

لما كان حاملو أعباء الوراثة المصطفوية. قد ضمخوا وجوه الطروس بعنبر مداد أخبار ليلة مسراه. وفاض جعفر الفيض بحسن المواهب اللدنية وسطع الضوء المحمدى وضاء سناه. لمعت لبصيرة الناهج نهجهم القويم لامعة ربانية فأنار بارق لمعها الباهر سواده وسوا يداه. وسفحت على أصداف أفكاره سافحة صمدانية. فانفلقت في فهيم البراعة عن الدرر المنتقاه فأقول: اختلف في الإسراء والمعراج علماء الملة الحنفية. والأصح أنهما بروحه وجسده يقظة إلى مقام المكافحة والمناجاه. واختلف في زمنهما والراجح أنه قبل الهجرة بسنة هلالية في أواخر رجب وأعتمده الجمهور من ثقاة الرواه. وحديث المعراج رواه الجم الغفير من أصحاب خير البرية. ورواه عنهم كل حافظ واعتمد صحة ما رواه فلننشر مطوى معنى القصة على فسيح أندية المسامع الغدية.
