ثمة ظاهرة محورية تكتنف كامل المغامرة المفتوحة التي تعيشها قصيدة النثر العربية المعاصرة، هي الصعود المضطرد للصوت الأنثوي واحتلاله موقعاً تكوينياً صريحاً يتجاوز حدود الكم والكيف، ولا يتوقف عند "الشعريات النسوية" بوصفها مجرد إسهاماً بين جملة إسهامات أخرى في موضوعات هذه المغامرة.
والشاعرة السورية هالا محمد واحدة من صانعات هذه الظاهرة، أو هي بالأحرى تشرع في ترسيخ موقعها ضمن صف الصانعات ابتداء من مجموعتها الثانية هذه، "على ذلك البياض الخافت" بعد أن قطعت خطوة الانتساب الضرورية الأولى في مجموعتها السابقة "ليس للروح ذاكرة". وإن صوتها الشخصي ليترسخ أكثر هذه المرة، وعلى نحو أسلوبي يسمح بإفرادها في عراء خاص بها يسجل ما لها وما عليها.
الأنا المؤنثة المتكلمة هي الضمير السائد في تسعة أعشار قصائد هذه المجموعة، ,أما الضمائر الأخرى، إذا توفرت، فهي آخر مذكر بصيغة المفرد يخضع أبداً للمبدأ الحواري، يجاهد لاستحواذ قسماته فلا يكاد يكتسب بعضها إلا من خلال ما يرشح من طغيان وجداني (رقيق وعذب، جارح ومعذب) لا تملك الأنا المؤنثة إلا ملازمته في بحثها عن روحية عليا مشتركة للحوار. والقصائد قصيرة متراصة، مشدودة عند منفذ استعاري وحيد أو يكاد، تشهق تارة وتغص طوراً، وتجرجر المحمول التخيلى خطوة ثقيلة إثر أخرى، فيحدث حيناً أن ينبت "فعل ماض في موقع القدم". أو تقترب الشهقة "قاب قوسين من الجنة/أو أدنى/من النار".
وحين تأخذ قصائد هالا محمد هذا التراث في الشكل والموضوعات فإنها في الآن ذاته تعين مساحة استقلال مسماة باسمها وسط مئات الأسماء الجماعية المعممة، فتغرز أوتاد خبائها الشعري. صحيح أنه مسربل بالأبيض الخافت، ولكنه بالتأكيد ذاك الذي سيميزها، وإليه -وإليها أساساً-سوف تهتدي ذائقة القراءة كلما توجب أن تسير خبط عشواء في عراء هذا المشهد الشعري المزدحم.
