رواية تتحدث عن ظاهرة غريبة حدثت في ذلك اليوم بالتحديد. الظاهرة التي غيرت حياة أسرة أحمد و زوجته لمياء الطالبان الجامعيان القادمان إلى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية مع أطفالهما الأربعة من أجل نيل درجة الدكتوراه. في ذلك اليوم بالتحديد حين سُمِعَ "الصوت" استجد الكثير من الأمور في حياة الكثيرين من الناس بغض النظر عن دياناتهم أو جنسياتهم، لكن أحمد و لمياء و أولادهما الأربعة كانت لهم وقفات عديدة مليئة بالكثير من المحن والتحديات. فالصوت الغريب الذي سمعه من في الشرق و الغرب كان بداية لأحداث مدهشة و غريبة شهدتها بشكل عام تلك المدينة الجامعية الصغيرة "لوجان" الواقعة في ولاية "يوتا" ، وعاشت أحداثها و تفاصيلها أسرة أحمد بشكل خاص. لكن يوسف الصغير أعلن أخيراً.. عن قدوم الباص الأخضر!
