إذا كان للعربية شعراؤها الكثار، فإن لها شاعرات مشتقات بين صفحات وصحائف وكراريس وكتب فمنهن من قالت قلاً، ومنهن من قالت جلاّ، ومنهن من قالت في بادية فباد مقولها، ومن قالت في حاضرة فلم قولها زمناً بعد زمن، هؤلاء الشاعرات منهن من اكتفت بالرمامة، ومنهن من كانت لها النعمى، ولكن نعمة الشعر تهون الفاقة، وتزيد الثراء، لأن الشعر في الحالين هو الثروان الذي يعطي، ففي يسيره ما يشبه اليسر، وفي كثيرة أمتان لا امتنان فيه، شاعرات العربية المشتقات يجمعهن ما يجمع السرائر والضمائر، فإذا به يثبت بثبته ترضي، وقد تعجب، وهنّ منذ الجاهلية إلى ما بعدها، يعلن الهواء والسماء، ما فيهن من كآبة وكأباء، ومن غم وغمّاء، ومن سرّى وسرّاء، كما يعلن ما بين هذه الأحوال من بعض ما يخطر فيه دون أن يقيم في بيت وأي بيت يفضل بيتهن، فلغيرهن البيوت ولهن الأبيات، وإن بعض ما نظم، من تلقاء منظمه، وإن بعضه من متعمدة، وهو فى كلا أمريه يحل محلّه، فالإحلال يجب أن يكون مقسطاً ويؤبي أن يكون قاسطاً، لا إفراط ولا تفريط في قدر ما قالته شاعرات العربية.
