يحفل إسلامنا الحنيف بكل ما يحفظ على الإنسان صحته الجسمية والعقلية والنفسية، ويكفل له التكيف مع نفسه ومع المجتمع الذي يعيش في كفنه، بل يكفل له السعادة في الدنيا والآخرة. فالإسلام يحيط أبناءه بسياج عظيم من القيم والمبادئ والمثل العليا والتعاليم السمحة، التي تهديه ترشد سلوكه إلى طريق السواء وإلى الفطرة السوية التي فطر الله الناس عليها.
في هذا الإطار يأتي البحث في كتاب "الهدي الإسلامي والصحة النفسية"، ويجيئ في عبارة سهلة وأسلوب سلس، معبراً عن بعض المعاني والقيم والآثار النفسية والعقلية والأخلاقية والإيمانية للهَدْي الإسلامي الخالد، والنابع من أصول الدين الإسلامي الحنيف، الذي يحيط الإنسان بكل الرعاية والحماية والعناية والاهتمام والحرص، بحيث يشب مسلماً صالحاً مؤمناً بربّه ووطنه وعروبته، ومتحلياً بالقيم الأخلاقية النبيلة "قيم وأخلاقيات الإسلام". ويمكن إنجاز طروحات المؤلف في بحثه هذا باستعراض رؤوس الموضوعات المتناولة والتي توزعت على فصول الكتاب الثمانية فكانت كالتالي: الإسلام والصحة النفسية، الاضطرابات السيكوسوماتية "النفسجسمية"، الانحرافات العدوانية ومعالجة الإسلام لها، اضطرابات الشيخوخة وسن اليأس، اضطرابات السلوك القهري، أسلوب الإسلام في علاج اضطرابات الإدمان، العلاج الإسلامي للاضطرابات العصابية، المعالجات الإسلامية لذهان فصام الشخصية.
