يشتمل الكتاب على فصول ستة تتناول التعريف بالسحر، السحر وعلاجه، الحسد وعلاجه، المس وعلاجه، والتحصينات التي يقي المسلم نفسه بها من أذى السحر والحسد والجان. والمؤلف يأخذ على من يقول أن الجن لا يدخل في الأنس ويورد على ذلك أدلة كثيرة كما يتحدث المؤلف عن تجربته الشخصية مع من جاءه كافراً وخرج مسلماً حيث حدثه عن الإسلام وعرض عليه الإسلام فأسلم وأصبح اسمه عبد الله بعد إسلامه.
يعتبر هذا الكتاب من أهم الكتب التي تحدثت عن علاج السحر والحسد والجان ويشتمل الكتاب على ستة فصول، الأول: تمهيد، الثاني: السحر وعلاجه، الثالث: الحسد وعلاجه، الرابع: المس وعلاجه، الخامس: شيطان أسلم على يدي، السادس: التحصينات.
