تتخذ الشاعرة أليس سلوم من العلاقة مع الرجل بؤرة القصيدة في مجموعتها الشعرية "إلى رجل" فالمرأة والرجل كلاهما حاضران ضمن ديكور النص، وإذ بناء إزاء مناخ شعوري خاص بالأنثى / الشاعرة، وتشظيه عبر حالات نفسية وجمالية تجسد أبعاد التجربة على وفق رؤية فنية تعمل على تحقيق الاثر لدى المتلقي.
وبهذا المعنى يبدو حضور (الرجل) فاعلاً من خلال تحقيق أثره في (المرأة)، وهذا ما تشغره الرؤية الشعرية لأليس سلوم عبر إحساسها العميق بنصفها الآخر؛ في قصائدٍ عاطفية لها نكهة فكرية، وحنين إلى الأجمل في كل شيء؛ يخص (العلاقة) مع الرجل، وقد كتبتها بحروف ممتلئ بالشوق والتوق وفيض المشاعر، ولتأتي هذه المجموعة عنواناً لتجربة إنسانية يتحول معها الشعر إلى وسيلة للدعوة للحب والحياة معاً.
تحت عنوان "عشق امرأة" نقرأ: "كيف عليك لا أغار... وأنت أحلى من خيالي.... من شموس في النهار؟!... عيناك نجمتان! أمّا... شفتاك فانبهار!!... جبينك العالمي كلُجَّةِ... تداعبُ القرار... يداك، يا ربّي، نخيلٌ... من حرير وثمارْ!!... لكَ ابتسامة تغازلُ... الغرام بإختصارْ!... كيف عليك لا أغارْ؟... كيف عليك لا أغارْ!"...
تضم المجموعة قصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "قنبلة حب موقوتة"، "حُمّى!"، "يا ساتر... يا حب!"، "هناك... في بلاد الحب"، "حُب إستثنائي!"، "هل يعرف حُبُّكَ؟"، "في زمن اللاأوطان!"، "حبيبي شكله شبحٌ!"، "أنت عالمي والكون نُقطة"... وقصائد أخرى.
