للمنبر الحسيني مكانته، فهو منبر رعاة الأئمة الطاهرون، ثم حثوا الأمة على إقامته والحضور عنده وتوسيع دائرته. ومر المنبر بمراحل متعددة حتى وصل إلى مرحلتنا المعاصرة إذ فيه تهيأ الخطيب المتخصص علماً وهدفاً. وكلما قارب المنبر قضايا المجتمع ومشكلات الناس وحاجات الأمة ضمن المعالجة الإسلامية مستضيئاً بالقرآن والسنة كان المنبر الأوفر حظاً والأبلغ تأثيراً والأشد استقطاباً لقطاعات الناس. هذا ولما كان الإلحاح يتزايد والطلب يتعاظم على طرح الموضوعات والأبحاث والمحاضرات التي تمس واقع المسلم المعاصر وتعالج قضاياه من هنا كان هذا الإسهام للمؤلف من خلال هذا الكتاب الذي جاء تحت عنوان "مجالس الدين والحياة"، ليكون عنوانه دالاً على مضمونه، حيث تنال فيه ثلاثين بحثاً في شؤون متنوعة ومختارة من بحوث ودراسات الدين والحياة. وقد وقع اختيار المؤلف على هذا العنوان لما يعنيه من شديد الصلة ووثيق العرى بين الإسلام العظيم والحياة، حياة الإنسان فرداً ومجتمعاً... لأن الإسلام هو دين الحياة ودين الخير ودين العطاء. وأمله أن يقع كتابه موقع القبول والرضا من الله تعالى أولاً، وموقع الفائدة والتوظيف من قبل خطباء المنبر الحسيني، ولا سيما شباب الخطباء، ومن عليهم النهوض بمهمة إكمال المشوار، وإيصال شعلة المنبر المبارك إلى أجيال الأمة، حيث يجدوا في أبحاثه وموضوعاته المختلفة نظرة وفكرة تضاف إلى عندهم من النظرات والأفكار كما وأن يقع هذا الكتاب في حقل الفائدة والتوظيف من قبل العلماء وخطباء المساجد في خطب الجمعة وغيرها، وإلى كل المبلغين والحاضرين الإسلاميين، أو المهتمين بشؤون الثقافة والفكر الإسلامي عموماً، كما يمكن للكتاب أن يوضح، مع غيره من أبحاث المختصين من علماء وكتّاب وخطباء، بعض جوانب عطاءات المنبر الحسيني لكل مهتم بشؤونه ودراساته.
