في كتابه هذا، يقدم الدكتور بلال نعيم مقاربة حول "التربية والتعليم في القرآن الكريم" ويبحث في الآليات والسبل التي يمكن من خلالها بناء جيل مسلم وفق ثوابت المنهج الرباني في التربية والتعليم ويقصد به "أسس التوحيد التي تفضي إلى الهداية والإستقامة وصولاً لتحقيق غاية الكمال المنشود"، وفي هذا الإطار يقسم الكتاب إلى ثلاث مفردات أساسية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- النظرية التربوية القرآنية وتقوم على عدد من الأهداف بالنسبة للمؤلف أهمها التفاعل والتكامل والمنطق والحكمة والتزكية، 2- المنهج التربوي الرباني، ويقوم على دراسة العوامل الأساسية المؤثرة في التربية "الوراثة، البيئة والمحيط، الأستاذ، العمر ..." وغيرها، 3- السلوك التربوي (التطبيق)، ويعالج خلاله الأنماط والطرق التربوية في القرآن وهي: التربية بالنموذج، التربية بالمثل، التربية بالتعويد أو التجربة، والتربية بالسلوك أي سلوك النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وآل بيته عليهم السلام والنبيين والصالحين.
وعلى ضوء ما تقدم اعتبر المؤلف أن المنهج التربوي القرآني هو خريطة متكاملة، من رأسها إلى أسفلها: من مبادئها، إلى الأهداف، إلى الأنماط، إلى السلوك، بين القناعات والإلتزام، وهي عملية تحتاج إلى الوضوح في المبادىء، وإلى وجود النماذج العليا، وإلى أنماط تربوية فعالة، وإلى عملية تقويم مستمرة، لنصل إلى ترسيخ المبادىء في أفلتزام مع تقليص الفارق بينهما وصولاً إلى التمثل الحقيقي بالإسلام كما أراد الله تعالى.
