من مواد التخصص التي يدرسها طلاب قسم اللغة العربية والأقسام الأخرى في كليات الآداب في الجامعات العربية مادة الصرف التي تتم دراستها في مصادرها الأصلية من أمهات الكتب القديمة التي ألفها علماء النحو.
