الشعرُ حبّةٌ في مسبحة القيم الجمالية، تلك المنظومة التي نفخت في البشرية روح الأنسنة على مرّ العصور. ولا يخفى على المتتبع حَجم الدور الذي لعبه الشِعر في حياة الإنسان ولمّا يزل.
والشعراء هم نبوءات الأمم، أو كما قال الرئيس علي عزت بيغوفيتش "الشعراء هم الجهاز الحسي لدى الجنس البشري ومن خلال مخاوفهم وشكوكهم نعرفُ أن الإنسان لا يسيرُ باتجاه الإنسانية إنما يسيرُ باتجاه الإنسانية إنما يسيرُ باتجاه اللاإنسانية والاغتراب".
وعليه فلقد كانت، وما زالت، وستبقى قناعتي التامة بالشعر ودوره الخصوصي في حياتنا... فهو الذي يُوجه بوصلة الوجدان نحو المحبة، ويفكفكُ الأشياء ويموضعها من جديد...
