وأفرد الفصل الثالث للجوانب الفنية في شعر حيدر محمود، وقد اعتمد في تحديدها على تعريفات عدد من النقاد لمفهوم الشكل في القصيدة، فكانت اللغة والأسلوب، والموسيقى الشعرية، والصورة الشعرية عناصر الشكل الرئيسة التي تناولتها في هذه الدراسة.
