كتاب "الصناعة في طرابلس بين 1967 و 1975" دراسة إقتصادية - إجتماعية تتناول حركة الصناعة في طرابلس التي هي في غالبيتها صناعة تحويلية أو حرفية، إضافة إلى حركة اليد العاملة في تنوعها المناطقي والطائفي الذي تجلى في إنصهار وطني بين مختلف العمال الذين أتوا في تلك المرحلة من كافة المناطق في شمال لبنان ليعملوا أو يقطنوا في عاصمته طرابلس، كما لعبوا دوراً بارزاً في حركة العمل النقابي سواء في الشمال أو على الصعيد الوطني.
وتتناول الدراسة أيضاً عرضاً شاملاً لكافة الصناعات التي اشتهرت بها مدينة طرابلس من صناعة الصابون إلى صناعة الحلويات والمفروشات والزجاج... حتى صناعة النفط عبر مصفاة النفط في البداوي ووصولاً إلى معمل الأسمدة الكيميائية في سلعاتا - البترون مروراً بمعامل الترابة والأترنيت في شكا.
تتضمن الدراسة عدة جداول إحصائية تكتسي أهمية خاصة تتناول شتى الأرقام المتعلقة بالمنتجات الصناعية وكمياتها المصدرة من طرابلس ولبنان عموماً، وعدد اليد العاملة في هذا القطاع الحيوي وكفاءتها حتى عشية إندلاع الحرب الأهلية في العام 1975.
