هذا وقد خصص المؤلف لكل مرض فصل خاص، ثم رتب الفصول ترتيباً ألفبائياً، وذلك لكي يسهل على القارئ الوصول إلى مبتغاه والوقوف على المرض الذي يريد معرفة شيء عنه. ومن أهم الأمراض التي تحدث عنها: آلام الأسنان، آلام النمو، الإسهال، الإغماء، التهاب الجلد... ألم الأذن التسمم على أنواعه، جدري الماء، جروح الأسلحة النارية... الحرارة، الحروق...، الخانوق...، خُبزة الرأس، السحايا... لسعة الأفعى، الكزاز... هزة الحائط...
