يطمح الكثيرون من حملة إجازة الحقوق للدخول في سلك القضاء، لكن صعوبات جمّة تعترض طريقهم لتحقيق هذا الهدف، رغم ثقافتهم القانونية التي سبق أن نالوها من دراسة المواد القانونية في الجامعات والمعاهد الحقوقية، وأبرز هذه الصعوبات أولاً: المشكالية تعود إلى عدم معرفتهم بالقواعد المنهجية التي يجب أن تعتمد في حل المسائل التي ستطرح عليهم في مباريات الدخول إلى معهد الدروس القضائية. ثانياً: النقص في القدرة على تنظيم الأفكار بشكل سليم الأمر الذي يؤدي إلى عدم وضع إجابات سليمة للأسئلة المطروحة.
وأمام هذا الواقع حاول المحامي "محمد يوسف ياسين" في هذا المؤلف أن يضع بين يدي دارسي القانون منهجية قانونية لحل المسائل العملية مستعيناً بالعديد من المؤلفات التي تحدثت عن المنهجية القانونية السليمة لحل المسائل العملية، وكذلك قام بتحليل ودراسة عمل القاضي في وضعه للأحكام القضائية بهدف وضع منهجية سليمة لعمل القاضي، أرفقها ببعض النماذج القيمة جداً عن أحكام المحاكم اللبنانية.
وتحقيقاً للغاية التي توخاها من الكتاب، وضع نماذج عن الحلول المفترضة للمسائل التي سبق أن طرحت في مباراة للدخول إلى المعهد المذكور، وقد التزم من ما تناوله من أبحاث بشرح المبادئ القانونية العامة والأحكام الأساسية متجنباً الأحكام التفصيلية والتعريفات الفقهية بأسلوب سهل وواضح يبسط الموضوع ويجعله يسير المأخذ، مرتكزاً في ذلك إلى مرجع قانونية عديدة لبعض كبار الفقهاء.
