Book Description
قد نشأت فكرة وضع هذا المعجم مع الدكتور اغناطيوس الصيّصي والدكتور هاشم الأيّوبي، الأستاذين في الجامعة اللبنانية، وقمنا بالفعل بالبحث عما يقابل المصطلحات الفرنسية اللسانية في اللغتين الإنكليزية والعربية.
ووضعنا سويّة قاموساً صغيراً تخلينا عن حقوق نشره لمؤسسةٍ لم ننشره بعد، ثم تناولت بمفردي هذا العمل المشترك واتخذته نواةً لمعجم يربو على ضعف ما وضعتْ مع زميلي ويقتصر على اللغتين الفرنسية والعربية، فأضفت إليه فيما أضفت مصطلحات اللسانية التي لم ترد في العمل السابق وأهمّ ما يستعمل من الألفاظ في السيمياء والأسلوبية والعلوم الرديفة.
ولم أكتفِ في معظم الأحايين بوضع مقابل واحدٍ للمفردة الفرنسية الواحدة، بل كنت أعرض لمعظم الألفاظ العربية التي تتضمن دلالتها المعنى اللساني أو التي استعملها الباحثون العرب في المضمون ذاته.
كلّ ذلك إيماناً مني بأن الزمن وحده هو الذي سيعطي الأسبقية لهذه اللفظة أو تلك، كذلك لم أكتفِ بوضع الكلمات المقابلة، بل حاولت على العموم مواكبة كل كلمة بالسياق أو الركن الذي تُستعمل عادة فيه، كما أنني أشرت أحياناً إلى الميدان الذي تنتمي إليه، وذلك بواسطة رموز خاصة (أنظر لائحة الإختزالات الإصطلاحية).
لقد بذلت ما بوسعي لأتمّ هذا العمل على أحسن وجه، وأرجو المعذرة إذا ما تخلّلته بعض الثغرات، وسبحان مَنْ عنده المعرفة كاملة! وجلّ مناي أن أعطي المكتبة العربية مرجعاً متواضعاً قد تتجاوزه معاجم أخرى في زمن غير بعيد، ولا عجب فاللسانية علم لا يزال يحبو وقد نشهد معه الجديد في كلّ يوم بل وفي كلّ ساعة.
