في جديدها الأدبي ترسم سارة الجذع وطناً من خلف أسوار الكلمات، وتبوح له بأسرار لا تُحكى، لخّصت بها غربة كل إنسان وانفصاله عن زمانه ومكانه قسراً لا طوعاً وسط عالم يسوده الظلام، ورماد الدمار، وسواد التمزق، والقهر والحزن.
في اللافتة الشعرية الأولى التي افتتحت بها الشاعرة عملها والتي تشكل مضمون النص ورسالته وميلادها أيضاً (10/ 1/ 1999م) تقول: "أنا ابنة يناير/ ذات السادسة عشر ربيعاً/ أقطن في كهف عظيم وبين ورقةٍ وقلم/ أكتب لأسرارٍ خلف النافذة لا تُحكى/ أكتب عن تلك العجوز التي تداهم أحرفي عندما أمسك/ بالقلم أكتب لأشياء خلف ستار حياتي؛ عن صديقةٍ من رَماد، وعن أبي الذي لا يغضب مُطلقاً.../ أكتب لغائب يُنتظر/ ولبلاد تُدمّر/ وعن تلك التي كانت تؤويني/ وتلك الأنثى التي تبحث عن أحلامها في طريق مظلم لتستضيء بها/ (...)/ عن أمي وأبي فقلمي يجفُّ عندما أذكر محاسنهما/ وحروفي تقف إجلالاً وتقديراً لعظيم فضلهما.. وتُرفع الصحف/ أنا ابنة يناير حبيبة القلم وصديقة الورقة".
وبهذا المعنى جعلت الشاعرة سارة الجذع من شخصيتها نفسها الفاعل الشعري أو الأنموذج في النص وهي تفعل ذلك من خلال موجهات دلالية تقدمها مع كل قصيدة أبرزها ذكر الوطن "سورية" والأهل الأم والأب والأحبة؛ وهكذا تبحث الشاعرة عن وطنها الغائب إلا من ذاكرتها وسط تساقط الموتى، وخراب الديار، فتعبر إليه من بوابة الشعر منتظرة وعد السماء بالغيث، وبالغد القادم من أقاصي الغياب.
يضم الكتاب "نصوص أدبية" جاءت بعنوان «خلف النافذة.. أسرار لا تُحكى لوليدة العاشر من يناير» ومن عناوينها نذكر: "10/ 1/ 1999م"، "محطة الانتظار"، "شيء من النسيان"، "سوريا.. ألا أن نصر الله قريب"، "بدأت أغنية الفراق"، "لعل في الأمر خيراً"، (...) ونصوص أخرى.
