وما يميز هذه البطاقات أن بعضها جاء باللونين الأبيض والأسود وذلك بقصد تلوينها من قبل الطفل، أما البعض الآخر فجاء ملوناً جاهزاً وذلك بقصد استعماله كوسيلة تعليمية من الشرح، هذا ويمكن للطفل إذ ما أنهى عملية الرسم والتلوين أن يفصل الصورة محل البحث وذلك عن طريق قصها من المكان المخصص لذلك، وبالتالي ممكن له أن يضمها إلى جميع الأوراق التي قام بإعدادها في المدرسة خلال عامه الدراسي الأول.
