منير (أو محمد منير) بن عبده أغا النقلي الدمشقي الأزهرى: صاحب (دار الطباعة المنيرية) في القاهرة.
تفقه في الازهر سلفيا، وأصبح من علمائه.
وأنشأ دار الطباعة (1337) ونشر كثيرا من المصنفات القديمة والحديثة.
وصنف كتاب (نموذج من الاعمال الخيرية في إدارة الطباعة المنيرية - ط) أنجزه في شعبان 1358
وله (إرشاد الراغبين في الكشف عن آي القرآن المبين - ط) وتوفي بالقاهرة.

هذا الكتاب هو قاموس وضعه "محمد منير الدمشقي" للكشف عما يراد الاطلاع عليه من آيات القرآن الكريم، رتبه المؤلف على حروف المعجم باعتبار الحرف الأول مع ما هو أقرب إليه من الحروب حسب الإمكان، وراعى في عدد آياته أعداد آيات القرآن الجليل، والتزم في ترتيبه أول كل آية مع علاوة جملة من الآيات وقعت في الوسط، لما لها من التداول على الألسنة صيانة لها من الغلط؛ فترى في هذا الدليل الآية برقمها وسورتها والجزء الذي هي فيه، مع بيان مرجع معناها من تفسير روح المعاني للعلامة الألوسي الفقيه. هذا وقد افتحه المصنف بمقدمة في علم تفسير القرآن الكريم، مشتملة على قواعد ومهمات وتنبيهات يحتاج إليها المستفيد والمفيد.
