منير (أو محمد منير) بن عبده أغا النقلي الدمشقي الأزهرى: صاحب (دار الطباعة المنيرية) في القاهرة.
تفقه في الازهر سلفيا، وأصبح من علمائه.
وأنشأ دار الطباعة (1337) ونشر كثيرا من المصنفات القديمة والحديثة.
وصنف كتاب (نموذج من الاعمال الخيرية في إدارة الطباعة المنيرية - ط) أنجزه في شعبان 1358
وله (إرشاد الراغبين في الكشف عن آي القرآن المبين - ط) وتوفي بالقاهرة.

Book Description
فقه شعب الإيمان من أهم ما يلزم المسلم معرفته، فالإيمان هو التصديق بحقيقة الشهادة، التي لا يكون المسلم مسلماً إلا بها، وإنما تستمد الحاجة إلى معرفة شعب الإيمان وفقهها من منزلة الشهادة. إلا أن المؤلفات في هذا الباب قليلة، وفيها كتاب الإمام أبي عبد الله الحليمي وكتاب الإمام البيهقي، ولكنهما من المطولات، ولما كان الأمر هكذا، فقد اختصر الإمام أبو المعالي القزويني الكتاب مقتصراً على الصحيح ومحلياً ما فيه من كلام الله عز وجل وكلام نبيه عليه الصلاة والسلام بما يمس القلوب مما ورد عن أهل الصلاح حالاً ومقالاً.
ثم إن الشرح الجامع لمعنى الشعب مفتقد في المكتبة الإسلامية، وليس فيه من كتاب يشار إليه فيما نعمل إلا كتابنا هذا الذي تولى شرحه العلامة محمد منير الدمشقي فكان صاحب سبق فيه فجزاه الله أحسن الجزاء، وشرحه شرح عصري يخاطب حياة المسلم في هذا العصر وواقعه، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب القيم، حيث جاء جامعاً بين خطاب العقل والوجدان، فتمت فائدته، ووجب أن ييسر للقارئ ويطبع، بل ويعاد طبعه.
وقد وجدنا أن العلامة الدمشقي لم يستقص تخريج ما ورد في شرحه من حديث، فخرجنا ما لم يخرجه من الحديث مما لم ينص على وجوده بالصحيحين أو أحدهما. ثم وجدنا أن بعض مواضعه تستدعي منا تعليقاً يربط شرح الشيخ بقضايا شغلت الفكر الإسلامي في الآونة الأخيرة مثل العلمانية والشذوذ وما شابه، فكتبنا مما لدينا من تعليق ما ارتأينا أنه يضيف إلى الكتاب ومخاطبته قلب المسلم وعقله، وقد كانت لنا تعليقات على متن المختصر اقتضاها ضبط العلامة الدمشقي لبعض ألفاظ المتن، وتعليقات أخرى اقتضاها المقام.
